Just stumbled into the Rose Garden - totally fell in love with this place. Best discovery I've made in ages! -Unlike the big box stores, the Rose Garden center has a great selection of unusual plants, fragrant flowers, flowering shrubs, tropical vines and all manner of fauna and flora especially suited for New Orleans gardens (It's also more affordable than the fancified places like Perrinos). If you are looking for an authentic, great, locally owned store to keep alive this one is well worth the trip.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I remember going here as a kid with my father and now I have the pleasure of bringing my son to this place. This is the only place I do business with for all my garden needs. The health and variety of all their various plants are outstanding as well as their familiarity and knowledge of everything they sell and willingness to pass on that information to their customers.

This is one of my favorite places to come and but feeder fish. The owner always tells me thank you when your leaving. That goes a long way.
